Message	filter, it's seems to be the adapter. i see how that adapter helps flow, but the K&N i have works great just as well. i'd rather not spend the extra $$$ just to get a better adapter, i don't think it'd make that big of a difference just 'cause of the adapter. the K&N filter is larger than JWT, and both brands have a good rep. K&N=larger filter, half the price. and it was actually the universal K&N filter, RD 1460 (i believe originally for diesels), not RU-2820. RU-2820 is a rip off from what i've heard....
